The trick to hide Dock
iOS 13 Dock has an upper and lower brightness limits. In Dark Mode it is darker than the background and in Light Mode it is brighter than the background, but the relative brightness are reversed if the background is darker or brighter than the Dock limit. Just at the border, Dock and the background are the same color and cannot be seen.

Japanese Summer
Summer is the most festive season in Japan. Stalls line the streets and people play games such as goldfish scooping and yo-yo (water balloon tied with a rubber string) fishing. If they are successful, they can take home what they took. But the tools are made of paper and other fragile materials, making the game quite hard to play. A few game masters make the shopkeepers shudder. They can win more prizes than they can take home, if they want to. Other, Japanese junk foods are sold.
The main event of the festival is the fireworks. In Japan, it is written in kanji, which means "fire flower (花火 hanabi: 花 hana=flower; 火 bi (one letter→hi)=fire)". The feature of this event is to use spherical fireworks balls and enjoy watching the fire spread out in circles like flowers.

Japanese Wind Bell
In the past, it was not uncommon to see under the eaves of the houses where the wind bells were hung down in summer. In recent, the number of housing complexes has increased and you rarely see them, especially in urban areas. Originally, they were introduced from China to ward off evil spirits, but in the modern era, the perception changed to that they were used to "create a cool atmosphere" with their sound. It can be said that the decrease in the number of wind bells is due to the spread of air conditioners. Nevertheless, there are almost no Japanese who do not know what the wind bells are. The wallpaper on this page depicts a glass bell. Sometimes metal is used. Often the glass is painted with a variety of pictures. It is a system that catches the wind with a strip of paper. It is not bent by the wind; it is pre-bent to catch the wind.
However, there is a theory that the sound of a bell lowers skin temperature only in Japan, and in general, the sound of a bell raises body temperature through its relaxing effect. Maybe it's the power of assumptions made by culture. Because if a wind ball are ringing, there's always a wind blowing. On the other hand, is it relaxing because the sounds of metal and glass are sounds that only our fellow human beings can make? Well, anyway, it sounds good.
