iOS 14で追加された新しい壁紙っぽさを取り入れながら、スーツの直線とドレスの曲線をモチーフに社交ダンスをデザインしました。
私の壁紙は背景とトリックをある程度分けて考える必要があります。ニーズが一つではありません。iOSの標準ぽさをバリエーションに加えるというのも戦略の一つです。時々そういう素材を作ります。もちろんただ真似をするだけでは劣化コピーにしかなりません。エッセンスを抽出してオリジナルにはない持ち味を作り出す必要があります。
iOS 14の新壁紙はこれまでのアブストラクトアートに比べてずいぶんすっきりとしたものになりました。それでいて一味違う、このトレンドをどう吸収しようか。何かの形が欲しい、究極の形とは何だろう？と考えていてふと気づきました。もしかしてiOS 14のあれは「女性」なのではないだろうか？ 真意はともかくそういうことなら半分を「男性」にしよう。
しかし本当の勝負はそこから高い質感を追求することでした。シンプルというのは結局そこに尽きるのかもしれません（データサイズが大きくなります）。単なる素材以上の力作になりました。

Commentary
I designed a ballroom dance with the straight lines of a suit and the curves of a dress as a motif, while incorporating the new wallpaper-ness that was added in iOS 14.
My wallpapers need to be somewhat separate from the backgrounds and tricks. There's no single need; one strategy is to add a variation of the standard iOS-ness to the variation. I make those materials from time to time. Of course, just imitating it will only result in a degraded copy. I need to extract the essence and create something that the original does not have.
The new wallpapers in iOS 14 are much cleaner than the previous abstract art. And yet there's something else, how am I going to absorb this trend? I wanted some form. What is the ultimate form? I was thinking about this when I suddenly realized. Perhaps that in iOS 14 is the "female"? Regardless of the truth of it, if that's the case, I’ll make half of it "male".
But the real challenge was to pursue a higher texture from there. Simplicity may mean that texture is important (The data size is large). It has become more than just material, it's a tour de force.
