注意事項補足
- iOS 13以降でダークモードにしている場合に「ダークモードで壁紙を暗くする」がオンになっていると背景だけが暗くなります。デフォルトではオフですがオンになっている場合は 設定 ＞ 壁紙 ＞「ダークモードで壁紙を暗くする」をオフにしてください。
- ダウンロードに時間がかかった場合、読み込み終了前に画像を保存すると描写が壊れることがあります。読み込みが完了するまで待ってください。

なぜ？
「透明度を下げる」をオンにするとドックは背景を暗くして彩度を落とした色になりますが、明るさと彩度が一定以下になるとドックの方が明るくなります。その境界でドックと背景は同じ色になります。色調によっては結果が不安定になるため、最も安定しているであろう紫がかったグレーにしています。
高級感を演出するため、上の方には暗めで彩度の低い色を使いましたが、グラデーションとはあまり相性がよくありません。そこでイージングという境界を滑らかに見せる手法を導入しました。

With Reduce Transparency turned On, the Dock will be a darker, less saturated color on the background, but the Dock will be lighter when the brightness and saturation are lower than a certain value. The Dock and the background will be the same color at that boundary. The result is unstable depending on the color tone, so I've chosen purplish gray, which is probably the most stable color.
I used darker, less saturated colors on top to give it a luxurious look, but they don't work well with the gradient. I introduced a technique called easing, which makes the border look smooth.
