モアレとは？
液晶または有機ELの画面には三原色の素子が規則的に並んでいます。素子の配列に近いスケールの周期的なパターンを動かすとモアレと呼ばれる目立つ縞が現れます。iPhoneの視差効果では傾きに合わせて遠近感をつけるように壁紙も少し歪むようになっていて、モアレは方向が変わるため曲がるというしくみでした。
歪みがなくなると
iOS 13では視差効果で背景を斜めに変形させる仕様は廃止されました。ただ上下左右に移動するだけです。するとモアレは目に見える縞模様としては現れず、明るさの変化だけになってしまいました。そのため表現を縞模様に頼っていた初期の動く静止画を型落ちに分類しています。

What is moiré?
The elements of the three primary colors are regularly arranged on the LCD or OLED screen. When a periodic pattern with a scale close to the array of elements is moved, noticeable stripes called moire appear. The iPhone's Parallax Effect had a slightly distorted wallpaper to add perspective to the tilt. So Moire was bent because the direction changed.
If the distortion disappears
In iOS 13, the specification to transform the background diagonally with Parallax Effect has been abolished. Just move up, down, left and right. Moire did not appear as a visible striped pattern, but only changes in brightness. For this reason, the initial Static Dynamic Wallpapers that relied on striped patterns are classified as Obsolete.
